Whilst the SMSTS Training course is aimed at site managers and supervisors it would also be well suited to professional individuals in the industry who aspire to become a site manager in the future and want to develop their CV accordingly.SMSTS courses are ordinarily carried out over a period of 5 working days. An SMSTS training course leads to the great benefits of increased safety, efficiency and productivity.Candidates are assessed continually throughout the five day course through written and verbal questions and practical observation. Exercises are scored and candidates need to meet pass percentages. Additionally, at the close of the course, candidates will be required to sit an end of course examination.Successful completion of the final exam leads to a certificated CITB qualification. To renew their qualification candidates can sit a two day refresher course. The two day refresher course can only be available for individuals who have already obtained a certificate from the 5 day course
